“An Even Flow of Music, Spirits, and Dining”
In the event you have been to the previous two venues that occupied the location, be prepared for something completely different when you walk through the doors. Even Flow features a full-size stage in the northeast corner of the building, a full bar that runs the length of the main floor, a loft area on the upper level and a lower-level lounge as well which, as of this writing, is not quite finished. Even so, the new owners (Michael Knuth and Nick Mercadante) have executed some pretty extensive renovation that, frankly, is impressive.

Legend Haz It
Thursday, Jul 19th, 2012 at 09:00 PM

Legend Haz It was born out of the dorm rooms of NIU and has turned into a phenomenon on the cutting edge of music today.
“For those who have been following Legend Haz It, their success has become increasingly apparent with the release of their debut EP, their opening performance for Lyfe Jennings, Yung Joc, and T-Pain, and their ever-growing fanbase throughout the Midwest and beyond. With Keith Winford’s lyricism and the blazing horn riffs and solos of trumpeter Ryan Nyther and trombonist Ron Jacoby, in conjunction with the Soul, Jazz, and R&B influenced grooves of guitarist Joel Ream, keyboardist Collin Clauson, bassist Tim Ipsen, and drummer Dan Pratt, the band is well on its way to creating a sound and message that will maintain the longevity and legacy of a Legend.”
Legend Haz It’s “music with a message” is sure to make this one of EvenFlow’s more edgier shows. More info on the group can be found on Facebook, twitter, or their website.

Mockingbird Sun
Saturday, Jul 7th, 2012 at 09:00 PM

National country act, Mockingbird Sun, will be performing at EvenFlow Music & Spirits this Saturday, July 7th, as part of their “We’ve Never Heard of You Either” 2012 national tour.
“Charlie, Brett, and Truck have been strongly influenced by a variety of music icons from Hank Williams to Tom Petty. The band draws from the slow blue heat of vintage country to solder whiskey-washed folk with classic American rock and roll. They write and play what they love with a Texas twang and a Tennessee twist. This year they are heading out on a gypsy-soul tour of America. Wherever they go, they will play and they will sing. They might even sing straight through the night.”
